Patients may be referred to Coastal Respiratory & Sleep Specialists through Medical Objects (preferred), fax, email, phone, or the referral form below.
Urgent referrals may be arranged by contacting our friendly reception staff on (07) 5638 1259.
Referral Types
Lung Function Testing
Our lung function laboratory can perform complex lung function, FENO, respiratory muscle assessment, 6 minute walk test.
All lung function testing is bulk-billed and we accept all referrals. Download the Best Practice Lung Function Template.
Sleep Studies
Our practice provides home sleep studies that are bulk billed. This can be provided in conjunction with consultation or independently. Download our referral form.
Inpatient & Bronchoscopy
Private insurance will usually fully rebate medical services provided by Coastal Respiratory and Sleep specialists whilst admitted as a hospital inpatient, including bronchoscopy and sleep studies.

Patients are required to bring the following items before their consultation:
A list of current medications
Any previous chest imaging
Respiratory function tests relevant to their condition
Copies of any previous sleep studies
